Nutritional Tip #2: "Think Twice" Approach

I know it may sound stupid but I promise it'll make a difference.

“Think twice approach? Dude that sounds stupid and my parents have been telling me to ‘think twice’ since I was 5. How is that supposed to help me moron?!”

Let me explain lol.

Although it may seem like a childish method, simply thinking twice about a decision could lead to the prevention of poor nutritional decisions (like eating an entire bag of Doritos on pre meet day, then mysteriously having “random stomach pain” during the meet lol) .

Remember, all tips in this section are made to help you gain a better grasp on controlling your dietary habits through experimenting with different methods. Simply thinking twice about the foods you're going to consume as an athlete could be the first step in adjusting your dietary life.

Plus, we both know you’ve grabbed something you knew you shouldn’t have eaten before practice or a meet and had paid for it with stomach pain afterwards lol. Believe me, i’ve been there.

But that’s exactly why this method could prove useful. If you could gain better control on your diet through simply thinking twice about what you eat, think about how much improvement you can see by implementing other dietary tips alongside it (starting to think it’s not such a bad idea now aren’t you ? lol).

Don’t knock it til you try it.

Have any questions ?

Please put them in the comments and i’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

Thank you for reading,

Kolton Osborn.
